Here at the Citizens Advice & Law Centre we offer a variety of services with the intention of helping to improve the quality of life for people and their communities within Derby.

The Citizens Advice & Law Centre is the product of a pioneering merger agreement between Derby Law Centre and Derby Citizens Advice Bureau. It was the first of its kind in the UK. This merger has created a brand new integrated advice centre for the city. The new Centre is a one stop shop for free, independent general and legal advice.

*We offer Advice in the following areas:

• Consumer Advice - General help for those with problems with purchased goods.
• Debt Advice - Specialist help for those with problems with debts.
• Employment Advice - Specialist help for those with employment related issues.
• Family and Relationship - General help for those with questions relating to family or relationship issues.
• Housing Advice - General help for those with questions in a wide range of housing issues. 
• Immigration Advice - Specialist help for those with questions about immigration and deportation.
• Welfare Benefits - Specialist help and Advice For people with questions about benefits.

The Citizens Advice & Law Centre (CALC) is a registered charitable legal practice, governed and regulated by Solicitors Regulation Authority guidelines and monitored by the Legal Services Commission.  We are also audited by Citizens Advice and we are a member of the Law Centers Federation which operates as a support organisation for law centres nationally.
