Welcome to the Advice Aware Project!
The Advice Aware project is a new initiative introduced by the Citizens Advice & Law Centre to increase awareness of the availability of social welfare advice in the Austin and Sinfin areas of Derby.
“What help can I get?”
Our aim is to support and complement existing social welfare advisory services. Working in partnership with community-based organisations we can identify and explore local needs, and deliver appropriate generalist and specialist advisory services.
“How can I get it?”
Our desired outcome is an integrated network of information and advice that is both relevant and accessible to the varied needs of local residents. Through our network of partners we can ensure that as many people as possible have access to impartial, independent and confidential advice whenever it is needed.
Click-Advice
As part of this project we have launched a dedicated email advisory service. Click-Advice enables direct contact with a CALC advisor.
