Citizens Advice Bureau throughout Derbyshire are now staffed with macmillan benefit caseworkers. All caseworkers are able to give specialist benefit advice to people living in Derbyshire who are affected by cancer, as well as their carers and families. All advice is free to access and confidential.
Macmillan benefit caseworkers can help with:-

• Applying for benefit
• Appealing against benefit decisions
• Applying for tax credits
• Health costs such as travel to hospital
• Accessing charitable grants
• Applying for transport concessions such as a disabled parking badge
• Housing costs
• Financial / Debt assistance and others
